A scene in which a member of the group Resenn narrowly escaped becoming a target of "butsukari" (the act of deliberately ramming into others in public spaces, ぶつかり), a crime that has emerged as a serious social issue in Japan, is being re-examined.
The episode of MBC Every1's "Hidden Eye," airing at 8:30 p.m. on the 5th, will focus intensively on the butzukari crimes occurring consecutively in Japan.
"Butzukari" refers to the act of deliberately and forcefully ramming one's body or shoulder into a specific target before passing by, often in crowded streets or subway stations. While it may appear to be an accidental collision, cases where individuals intentionally make contact to injure or cause discomfort to their victims are becoming a problem.
The broadcast will introduce scenes showing threatening pushing toward young children, as well as an instance where an individual appeared to deliberately attempt to collide with members of Resenn while they were fulfilling overseas schedules.
Recently, on OnLINE, videos and photos that appear to show people intentionally ramming into children or women in the streets of Japan have been spreading consecutively.
One net user also claimed that after a child was injured by such an incident, they reported it to local police but did not receive any significant action.
According to the production team, the cast members who watched the related videos expressed concern over the fact that anyone can become a victim in crowded public spaces.
