
Singer Roy Kim candidly disclosed that he had received a hair transplant surgery.
On the 1st, footage of Roy Kim appearing on the YouTube channel "Jo Hyun-ah's Ordinary Thursday Night" and conversing with Jo Hyun-ah was released.
In the video, the two reminisced about their past days spent together. Jo Hyun-ah mentioned Roy Kim's appearance in his younger years, saying, "You used to hang out a lot when you were young. Back when you wore that headband."
Later, after looking at Roy Kim closely, Jo Hyun-ah trailed off with, "Your forehead is a bit…" In response, Roy Kim asked, "Are you saying it's receding?"
When Jo Hyun-ah immediately followed up by asking, "No, did you get one done?", Roy Kim answered without hesitation, "It's been quite a while," acknowledging the fact of his hair transplant.
Looking at his own head, Roy Kim said, "All you see is my forehead? Is it too noticeable? I thought it looked natural." Jo Hyun-ah replied with a smile, "No, it looks good. You did well."
Roy Kim first gained recognition by winning the 2012 Mnet audition program "Superstar K4." Since then, he has been active in the music industry, releasing songs such as "Spring Spring Spring," "It's Okay to Break Up Then," and "Let's Stop."
