Money Today's startup media platform 'Unicorn Factory', Hanyang University Graduate School of Entrepreneurship, the Korean Angel Investment Association, and Ensl Partners (an accelerator and TIPS fund manager) will jointly launch the '2026 Top-Level Angel Investment Course' (AIP) starting in October. The program promises high-quality lectures, differentiated hands-on training, and active networking opportunities.
In its third year, this course replaces simple theoretical classes with online modules, while offline sessions offer practical experiences such as reviewing real investment cases, startup IRs (investor presentations), and on-site visits. Experts from the venture investment ecosystem—including Angel Investment Clubs, Accelerators (ACs), and Venture Capital firms (VCs)—will serve as instructors to share vivid, real-world insights.
The curriculum begins with a general overview of angel investing by Lee Jong-hoon, President of the Korean Angel Investment Association, followed by Choi Sung-ho, President of the AI Angel Club, who will present on forming and liquidating individual investment partnerships. Professor Lee Jung-hyun from Kyung Hee University will share expertise in managing investment risks. Additional practical guidance includes insights from Lee Yong-gwan, CEO of Blue Point Partners, and Bae Jun-hak, President of Oracle Venture Investment, on identifying promising early-stage startups. Jeon Jun-hee, Executive Vice President of Musinsa, will share his perspectives on venture capital through a talk-concert format.

A new program introduced this year is 'Reverse IR.' Unlike conventional IRs where startups present to investors, Reverse IR features investment firms presenting their investment philosophies and case studies to course participants. Koo Won-hoe, CEO of Ensl Partners, and Jeong Seong-min, CEO of BM Ventures, will lead the Reverse IR sessions. Immediately following these sessions, participants will engage in startup IR pitching practice. The hands-on training includes startup valuation assessment, preparation of investment review reports, and building AI agents for investment purposes. Completed reports will be submitted to AC and VC experts for one-on-one feedback at a level sufficient for actual investment execution.
Institutional investor visits will take place at 'Tipstown' in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and the Global Venture Center 'SVCSeoul' in Hongdae. Mid-November will also include a 2 Days & 1 Night field training program featuring local startup institutional investor visits, startup meetups, and IR pitching sessions as part of the curriculum.
Upon completion of all modules, graduates will receive: △ certification as GP (General Partner/Operating Member) from the Korean Angel Investment Association; △ a certificate of completion issued in the name of the Dean of Hanyang University Graduate School of Entrepreneurship; △ support for activities including cohort-based networking and office space; △ preferential admission to Hanyang University's Graduate School of Entrepreneurship for outstanding students; and △ opportunities for top performers to participate in Hanyang University IR evaluations, mentor startups, and serve as instructors.
The '2026 Top-Level Angel Investment Course' (AIP) will run from October 1 to December 3, spanning 10 weeks with weekly Thursday sessions from 5 PM to 9 PM at Hanyang University's Seoul Campus, specifically at the Hanyang Institute of Technology (HIT). Applications are accepted until September 16.
