Hancom has unveiled its first TV commercial for its AI workforce platform 'Nomadian' and is launching efforts to penetrate the U.S. market. The core concept presented in the advertisement by Hancom is 'Agent Owner.' The protagonist of the ad is a solo entrepreneur who owns and operates a company alongside their AI team members, having trained and grown their own AI agents.
Hancom announced on the 18th that it is broadcasting a Nomadian TV commercial depicting an owner running a company with a team composed of AI agents. The content showcases a new entrepreneurial approach that utilizes AI not merely as a work tool but as a collaborative team member.
In the commercial, the owner works as part of a team with five AI agents. Each agent handles distinct tasks such as task management, marketing, and copywriting. Hancom applied unique characters to each agent in line with the '3D AI Team' concept. By representing AI as visual characters, the platform aims to make users perceive them not as tools but as colleagues.
The workflow resembles that of a typical small-scale company. When the owner assigns tasks, AI team members divide and handle them according to their roles. The owner monitors each team member's progress within a 3D workspace and reviews deliverables at stages requiring decision-making.
Assigning tasks to AI team members is also straightforward. Users simply input a single sentence in natural language to submit a work request. This allows users to monitor the work status of team members within a single 3D workspace without switching between multiple AI services.
Nomadian is an AI workforce platform developed by Hancom based on agentic OS technology. Users can select necessary AI agents to form a team, much like hiring employees.
When users choose required roles such as data analysts or content marketers, the corresponding work tools used in those roles are also connected. If a needed agent is not available, users can create one themselves and assign it to their team.
Hancom highlights 'relational experience' inspired by cultivation simulation games as Nomadian's differentiator. The structure allows AI agents to evolve according to users' work styles as conversations and feedback accumulate between them. This means that even when using the same service, each user can build a unique AI team.
Nomadian is scheduled to begin beta services in the U.S. by the end of December and launch its subscription-based commercial service in 2027. The advertisement was also produced with U.S. users in mind.
The ad's slogan is 'AI Workforce, Built for Super Founders (An AI Team for Solo Entrepreneurs).' It features English audio with Hangul subtitles and will be broadcast for 30 seconds on terrestrial networks including KBS, MBC, and SBS, as well as on JTBC, Channel A, Yonhap News TV, and YTN.
Hancom plans to start by broadcasting the commercial domestically before leveraging it in the U.S. market to continue marketing efforts targeting local users.
Kim Yeon-soo Han Keom (CEO) stated, "Characters, or agents, interact with users and grow into AI team members just like in cultivation and management simulation games." He added, "The relationships built during this process and the attachment to the characters will become Nomadian's differentiated user experience and the reason users remain on the platform."
