TV host Do Kyung-wan, formerly an announcer, stated that he sold a high-end watch as a second-hand item to pay taxes.
Do appeared on the YouTube channel "SHW Life Man's Watch" on the 22nd and said, "I had to pay taxes last May, but I was short on cash, so I sold my watch on Danggeun Market."
Do stated, "I was going through a lean period. Taxes are paid in two large installments in May and August, but with no work and YouTube not doing well, it was truly difficult." He further revealed, "Also, because of Hynix, a lot of my money is tied up there, so I am being semi-forced to manage my finances."

He had previously appealed about his financial difficulties on the KBS2 variety show "Newly Released Restaurant."
On the program, Dosaid, "A lot of money goes into maintaining the house. Of course, my wife (Jang Yoon-jung), who earns a large income, covers the major expenses, but I thought I should at least pay the management fees."
He then expressed frustration, saying, "We used 58,000 won more for water. I told them not to wash so much. We used 1,700 kWh more electricity. What makes me angry is why everyone wants to cool down their own rooms? And why does everyone shower separately?"
He then revealed that the management fees had increased significantly compared to the previous month, and also mentioned that he restricts his children from flushing the toilet frequently.
Meanwhile, the couple Jang and Do sold their Nine One Hannam apartment in Seoul's Yongsan-gu for approximately 12 billion won in April 2024, securing a capital gain of 7 billion won. Subsequently, they attracted attention by purchasing Aper Han River The Penthouse, located in the same area, with a full cash payment of 12 billion won.
