Nam Yu-jeong, a singer and actress formerly of the group Brave Girls (now known as BVB Girls), has announced her participation in 'Waterbomb Sokcho 2026', sparking debate among fans.
Recently, Nam's agency R&N Company and Waterbomb Sokcho confirmed that she will perform at 'Waterbomb Sokcho 2026' on the 22nd at Sokcho Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano in Gangwon Province.
The agency stated, "She plans to showcase the charm of a new 'Summer Muse,' going beyond her previous bright and healthy image."
In response, netizens commented: "What song will you perform?" "'Brave Girls' are currently active; is a former member planning to sing 'Rollin'?" "Didn't she switch to acting?" "She left the group under difficult circumstances. The other members reportedly felt hurt at the time; it would be painful for them if Nam performs Brave Girls songs."

In 2023, Min-young, Yuna, and Eunji renamed the group BVB Girls and relaunched their activities. However, in 2024, Nam unexpectedly left the group and announced her transition to acting. The remaining three members of BVB Girls are currently active with their new single 'Body Wave'.
