Lee Min-ho spoke about director Heo Jin-ho's directing style, with whom he collaborated on the film 'Assassin(s)'.
On the 8th, a press screening and press conference for the film 'Assassin(s)' were held at Seoul Megabox COEX. Director Heo Jin-ho and actors Yoo Hae-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Min-ho attended the event.
'Assassin(s)' is a work that traces the suspicions and figures behind the shocking assassination of the First Lady of South Korea on August 15, 1974. Lee Min-ho played Young-il, a rookie reporter in the social affairs department.
Regarding Director Heo, Lee said, "He is someone who treats people with respect at his core," adding, "He ensures that actors do not lose their unique presence."
He then joked, "He has a way of gaslighting very naturally," drawing laughter from the audience.
Lee explained, "I never saw the director raise his voice on set. He speaks calmly and gently in one tone, yet as conversations unfold, you can sense his intensity."
He added, "Through this process, I believe I was able to maintain my own identity while acting."
'Assassin(s)' will be released on the 23rd.
