Tinkware announced on Thursday that it is launching the riding safety device 'iNavi TR10', which combines rear approach detection, rear lights, and anti-theft functions.
The iNavi TR10 uses a 77GHz radar to detect objects approaching from behind the bicycle. It can recognize up to eight objects simultaneously at distances of up to 200m, with detectable approach speeds ranging from 1.5 to 120 km/h. Tinkware explained that it is the first domestic riding safety device to apply a 77GHz radar.
Six LEDs are mounted on the rear. Users can select one of five lighting patterns depending on the driving environment, and the lights automatically turn on when the bicycle slows down.
The 'Smart Tag' function for anti-theft protection has also been applied. Users can check the product's status and location via a smartphone app. It supports Bluetooth and ANT+ connections, allowing linkage with smartphones and bicycle computers. The battery capacity is 1100mAh, enabling up to 17 hours of use. The water resistance rating is IPX7.
The official selling price is 229,000 won. Tinkware will hold a launch commemorative event until the 15th of next month, selling the single item at a discounted price of 139,000 won, which is 90,000 won less than the regular price. Additional discounts are also provided when purchased together with the riding black box 'iNavi IB10'.
A Tinkware representative said, "We have combined rear vehicle detection, visibility assurance, and anti-theft functions into a single product," adding, "It will help riders quickly grasp the rear situation and ride safely."
