'Father's Passing' Yoo Hye-joo: "Received the news of my father's death while in postpartum care... He would have wanted to return"

YouTuber Yoo Hye-joo (34), known from the broadcast 'Eoljjang Sidae', shared her feelings after holding her father's funeral.

On the 30th, via her YouTube channel 'Rejuice', Yoo Hye-joo stated, "The past week was an extremely difficult time for both my body and mind," adding, "After giving birth to my second son (prenatal name Jjang-a), I was in a postpartum care center when I suddenly received the news of my father's death and rushed to Busan."

She continued, "Thanks to the condolences from many people, we were able to hold my father's funeral properly," and shared her current status: "I am now back at the care center, focusing on recovering both physically and mentally."

Regarding the resumption of her YouTube activities, she said, "I was deeply concerned about whether I should take more time off from my channel," but added, "I believed that slowly returning to daily life rather than stopping would be more empowering for me."

She further remarked, "Most importantly, I believe my father would want to see me living energetically and cheerfully again," and concluded, "Starting today (the 30th), I will cautiously begin uploading videos once more."

Meanwhile, Yoo Hye-joo first gained recognition by appearing on the comedy TV show 'Eoljjang Sidae 5' in 2011. She married her flight attendant husband in 2019, welcomed their first child in 2023, and gave birth to her second son on the 19th.
