Smilegate Orange Planet Startup Foundation announced on the 7th that it held graduation ceremonies for its early-stage startup support programs, "Orange Garden 13th Cohort" and "Orange Farm 9th Cohort."
The graduating startups include a total of 21 teams: 13 from Orange Garden and 8 from Orange Farm. The cohort includes companies in fields such as AI and deep tech, beauty, content, and finance.
Orange Garden is a four-month program for early-stage startup teams. Orange Farm is a one-year program that supports the business maturation of companies that have secured initial investment. Participating companies are provided with office space, mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs, investment consulting, webinars on global expansion, and capital-raising consulting based on intellectual property (IP).
Pearl Clum Technology, which operates the product detail page creation AI agent "Hookable," secured seed bridge investment from Smilegate Investment during its participation in the program. AdShield, an ad-blocking loss recovery solution company, turned profitable within two years of entering the U.S. market, and its revenue for the second quarter of this year increased by 66% compared to the previous quarter.
Seo Sang-bong, director of the Orange Planet Center, said, "We will support our graduates to leap as next-generation unicorn companies within the 'Orange Family' even after graduation."
Over the past 12 years, Orange Planet has nurtured more than 400 startups. The cumulative corporate valuation of its alumni companies has exceeded 4.8 trillion won.
